The mighty Blood Demoness

I was excited to be able to help out C Prompt Games with some icons for Millennia. Millennia is out now!

These capsule based buildings were a way for me to refine my process. For this, I started off with some basic building shapes and some limited texture pallets to keep things cohesive.

From there I created some very messy, but very important potential compositions.

And of course, here are the 10 buildings and a building floor stone blocked out in 3D. The handpainted texture really helped keep the painterly style consistent through the whole process.

Cleaned up pages of exploration sketches from my person project SOLARIUM. I’ve done a lot of exploration and thinking for shape language, story beats, flora, fauna, and mood in my sketchbook that I wanted to share. I still have a lot to plan out, but I hope that you enjoy.

Each of these yellow sticky notes marks a page with project sketches.

Finishing up another sketchbook. Here are a few of my favorite doodles from this one.

I had to the honor of being part of Light Grey Art Lab’s recent group show. Where we reflected on moments from our artist residency trip in Norway. This piece was an attempt at capturing the dreamlike landscape of the area surrounding Norheimsund and Hardangerfjord while also remembering the vast amount of artist knowledge that was shared by such a fantastic group of fellow artists.
Below is a messy gif of my process

Hustle Beach was one of my favorite areas in Totally Reliable Delivery Service to work on. I based all the hotels off of the crazy 70s hotels that had so much character and tried to add extra character on top of that.

The whole We’re Five company are big fans of Rocket League and we thought it would be fun to add a goofy physics based homage inside Totally Reliable Delivery Service. It was awesome to get to design such a fun game area.

Whats better than building a ski lodge at the top of a perfectly good snow covered mountain?

Everyone’s favorite starting town; Down Town! One of my first areas that I redesigned after coming onto the project was the starting town. With the help of the team, we came up with some fun area ideas and I went to town.
